After more than 25 years of experience in the field of catalogues raisonnés, scientific analysis of art works and documentary research in Art History, Marc Restellini decided to create his own Institute for Scientific and Documentary Research in Art History: Institut Restellini.
Founded in 2015, Institut Restellini is a pioneer in the contribution of the most advanced technologies in the field of art history, and documentation, by combining scientific methods with traditional stylistic and historical analysis.
Institut Restellini is dedicated to work in total independence from the art market,alongside the best scientists worldwide, on any work of art, and not only on works by Modigliani.
For this purpose it relies on two independent centres: Institut Restellini – Investigation in Geneva for the scientific analysis, and Institut Restellini – Documentation – in Paris.
